Assessment

Students in grades 3-8 and 10 take the Kansas State Assessments each spring. These are computerized tests in Reading and Math. Students in grades 5, 6 and 11 also take an assessment in Science. Every other year, students in grades 6, 8 and 11 take a History/Government assessment in addition to the other subjects.

NWEA MAP
Students in grades 2-5 take the NWEA MAP assessment in the Fall, Winter and Spring each year. The subjects tested are reading and math. This is a computerized test designed to determine a student's accurate learning level. More information may be obtained at: https://www.nwea.org/assessments/resources-for-parents/
